Raid Chamois 2015 - cool hike and fly event with nice flying conditions (green trace), however despite of that I hiked 27 km with 2850 m altitude difference. Final ranking, in the middle of the crowd, last one finishing the task.
Here a short summary of the Vercofly hike and fly event in the swiss alps, where I participated for the 5th time. Conditions this time have been very challenging, with a very low cloud base, snow and strong winds on the last day.

Despite some weather handicap the Jura Hike and Fly event has been a full success.

This paragliding hike and fly event was again a great experience. Getting to the limits of its own in a splendid scenery in the mountains is just unforgettable. And at the end I was the lucky one winning a paraglider from Gradient at the lottery. www.vercofly.ch

By train from Montagny to Baulmes. Followed by a nice hike from Baulmes to the Suchet via the ridge. And finally enjoying the flight back to Montagny with the paraglider - my new Ozone Alpina 2 - just a great wing!
Yes, also today, after 15 years I can do it the double salto ... but it required a mental kick in the ass..
